Tu et al. (2008) designated that nowadays the majority of commercial CFD codes are based on the finite volume method. The finite volume approach (or control volume method) is a useful tool for discretizing the differential equations (Patankar 1980). The most attractive feature of the control volume formulation is that the resulting solution would imply that the integral conversation of the quantities such as mass, momentum, and energy is precisely satisfied over any group of control volumes and, naturally, over the whole calculation domain (Patankar 1980). In this method, the calculation domain is divided into some non-overlapping control volumes (Fig. 5.9) such that there is one control volume surrounding each grid point.
